The Black Triangle Pattern (1980s-Present)
Large, silent, triangular craft with lights at each vertex and sometimes a central light are among the most consistently reported UAP worldwide. Unlike metallic orbs (52% of reports) which are small and fast, black triangles are massive — often described as football-field-sized or larger — and move slowly or hover silently at low altitude. The Hudson Valley wave (1982-1986) produced thousands of sightings in New York and Connecticut of a boomerang/chevron craft, witnessed by police, pilots, and entire communities. The Belgian Wave (1989-1990) had F-16s achieve radar lock on triangles demonstrating impossible acceleration. The Illinois Triangle (January 5, 2000) was tracked by police across multiple jurisdictions — officers independently drew identical craft. The Phoenix Lights V-formation (1997) was estimated at over a mile wide. Reports persist globally. The TR-3B hypothesis suggests some triangles are classified US military craft reverse-engineered from recovered non-human technology — Edgar Fouche, a former defense contractor, described the TR-3B Astra as using a magnetic field disruptor reducing mass by 89%. Ben Rich, former head of Lockheed Skunk Works, allegedly stated before his death that 'we already have the technology to take ET home.' Whether these are non-human craft, reverse-engineered human craft, or both, the black triangle represents a distinct UAP type with thousands of consistent reports spanning 40+ years.
