Former USAF Captain who was on duty at Malmstrom AFB's Oscar Flight Launch Control Center on March 24, 1967 when all ten Minuteman I nuclear ICBMs were simultaneously disabled while a glowing red object hovered over the facility. Security guards witnessed the object. A week earlier, the same happened at Echo Flight. Salas reported the incident through official channels and was told it never happened. He went public decades later and has testified before Congress. Co-authored 'Faded Giant' documenting nuclear-UAP incidents.
