The Entheogenic Interface Map: Scheduled Plants as Consciousness Technology Components

Every ancient site with acoustic resonance chambers also has documented entheogenic plant use. These aren't separate practices. They're components of one integrated consciousness technology stack. Each plant targets a different receptor system and plays a specific role in the frequency interface. THE CONSCIOUSNESS TECHNOLOGY STACK: LAYER 1 — THE TUNER (Endocannabinoid System): Cannabis / THC — Targets CB1 receptors. Attenuates gamma oscillations (30-80 Hz), modulates theta (4-7 Hz), quiets the default mode network. Adjusts which frequencies the brain resonates at. Role: pre-amplifier that tunes the receiver before the main signal. The endocannabinoid system is 500+ million years old — one of the oldest neurotransmitter systems in evolution. The body's own cannabinoid is named 'anandamide' from Sanskrit 'ananda' (divine bliss). Archaeological evidence: cannabis residue on altar at Tel Arad, Israel (750-715 BC), contemporaneous with Solomon's Temple. Schedule I for 50+ years. Recently rescheduled. LAYER 2 — THE KEY (Serotonergic System): DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) — Targets 5-HT2A serotonin receptors. Produces structured entity contact with remarkable consistency across unconnected cultures. Naturally produced by the pineal gland, which contains piezoelectric calcite microcrystals (Baconnier et al., 2002, Bioelectromagnetics). Role: opens the full consciousness channel. The pineal gland is simultaneously a DMT factory and a piezoelectric antenna. Found in 400+ plant species across every continent. Schedule I. CLASSIFIED PLANTS — YES, IT'S A THING: MKUltra (1953-1973) documents reference 'botanicals obtained from consultants in Latin America.' The CIA studied LSD, psilocybin, mescaline, DMT, and unspecified plant compounds in classified research. When CIA Director Richard Helms ordered MKUltra files destroyed in 1973, whatever botanical discoveries were made in 20 years of classified research were destroyed with them. We know the CIA studied consciousness-altering plants. We know they destroyed the records. We don't know what they found. THE SUPPRESSION MAP: Every plant that EXPANDS consciousness is Schedule I or restricted. Every substance that NUMBS consciousness (alcohol, tobacco, opioids, SSRIs) is legal and profitable.
