Eugene Mallove

MIT and Harvard-educated physicist who became chief science writer at MIT before resigning in protest over what he claimed was the manipulation of cold fusion experimental data. Founded Infinite Energy Magazine and became a leading advocate for new energy research. Had been working with someone who possessed an operational free energy device. Called Steven Greer to report the breakthrough, and Greer warned him to immediately publish the plans online for safety. Mallove refused, wanting to protect the technology. He was beaten to death outside his parents' home in Norwich, Connecticut on May 14, 2004. The murder remains officially unsolved.
