Sumerian Texts & the Anunnaki — First Written Records of Sky Beings

The Sumerians, the earliest known civilization (circa 4500-1900 BC), left thousands of cuneiform tablets describing beings called the Anunnaki — 'those who from heaven came to Earth.' These texts describe the Anunnaki arriving from a planet called Nibiru, establishing cities in Mesopotamia, creating humans through genetic manipulation of existing hominids (mixing their essence with 'clay'), and instituting kingship — the Sumerian King List records rulers who 'descended from heaven' with reigns lasting tens of thousands of years before the Flood, then dramatically shorter reigns after. The parallels to modern UAP narratives are extensive: the Anunnaki descriptions match classic 'Nordic' or tall humanoid ET types. They are described as mining gold (the Smith/Nolan metamaterials contain unusual isotopic ratios of precious metals). Their creation of humans through genetic manipulation parallels the hybridization programs described by modern abductees. The Sumerian mathematical system — base-60 (sexagesimal) — gave us 60-second minutes, 60-minute hours, and 360-degree circles. This mathematical framework is embedded in sacred geometry, the Great Pyramid's dimensions, and appears in crop circle designs. The Sumerians also had detailed knowledge of all planets in the solar system, including Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto — which weren't 'discovered' by modern astronomy until 1781, 1846, and 1930 respectively. Either the Sumerians independently developed advanced astronomy that wouldn't be matched for 4,000 years, or someone told them.
