Hollow Earth / Agartha — The Underground Civilization Hypothesis

Across nearly every ancient culture, there are descriptions of a vast underground world. The Tibetans call it Agartha or Shambhala — an advanced civilization beneath Central Asia connected to the surface through a network of tunnels. The Greeks had Hades, the Norse had Svartalfheim, the Hindus described Patala, the Hopi describe emerging from underground worlds. Buddhist tradition speaks of beings inside the Earth of immense spiritual and technological advancement. Admiral Byrd's alleged diary (authenticity disputed — the Byrd Polar Research Center says no supporting records exist) describes encountering a green valley, advanced beings, and flying disc craft during a polar flight. The theory connects to UAP through several threads: many UAP sightings cluster near mountains, volcanoes, and deep ocean trenches. The US military's deep underground military bases (DUMBs) may overlap with natural tunnel systems. The Skinwalker Ranch phenomena include reports of portals and entities emerging from underground. USO (Unidentified Submerged Objects) suggest something operates beneath the surface. If non-human intelligence exists on Earth — not visiting from space but resident — underground or undersea habitation would explain why we've never found them on the surface. The hollow earth model as literally proposed (a hollow sphere) is geophysically impossible. But extensive underground systems, potentially hosting intelligence we haven't cataloged — that's a different question.
