The Five Observables — The Pentagon's Own Framework for What UAP Do

Luis Elizondo, as director of AATIP, codified five performance characteristics that define genuine UAP encounters — capabilities no known human technology can replicate. These aren't speculation. They're derived from military sensor data analyzed by Pentagon intelligence officers. OBSERVABLE 1 — INSTANTANEOUS ACCELERATION: Objects accelerating from stationary to hypersonic speed with no observable acceleration phase. The Nimitz Tic Tac went from hovering to disappearing off radar scope in under a second — an acceleration exceeding 5,000g. Human pilots black out at 9g. No known propulsion system produces instantaneous acceleration without an observable energy signature. OBSERVABLE 2 — HYPERSONIC VELOCITY: Speeds exceeding Mach 5 without sonic booms, thermal signatures, or ionization trails. Objects tracked on radar at 24,000+ mph. Even hypersonic missiles at Mach 5+ produce massive thermal and acoustic signatures. These objects produce none. OBSERVABLE 3 — LOW OBSERVABILITY: Objects visible on one sensor but not another, or visible at one moment and invisible the next. Radar tracks that appear and disappear. Visual observations of objects that produce no radar return, or radar returns with no visual. This suggests active signature management beyond any known stealth technology. OBSERVABLE 4 — TRANSMEDIUM TRAVEL: Objects transitioning between air, water, and potentially space without any change in performance characteristics. The Aguadilla object entered water at speed without a splash or deceleration. Multiple Navy encounters document objects descending from altitude into the ocean and continuing underwater. No known vehicle operates in all three domains. OBSERVABLE 5 — POSITIVE LIFT / ANTI-GRAVITY: Objects hovering indefinitely with no visible means of propulsion — no wings, no rotors, no exhaust, no downwash. Objects maneuvering in ways that suggest gravity is either negated or manipulated. The Tic Tac hovered at 50 feet over churning water with zero downwash effect. THE FRAMEWORK'S SIGNIFICANCE: These five observables aren't UFO lore. They're the Pentagon's own analytical criteria, derived from classified sensor data, used by intelligence professionals to distinguish genuine anomalies from conventional explanations. When even ONE observable is confirmed on military-grade sensors, it rules out all known human technology. When multiple observables are confirmed simultaneously — as in the Nimitz, Gimbal, and Aguadilla cases — the implications are unambiguous.
