Colares UFO Incidents — Operation Prato (1977)

For months in 1977, residents of Colares Island in northern Brazil were attacked by beams of light from UAP that left radiation burns, puncture wounds, and drew blood. The Brazilian Air Force launched Operation Prato to investigate, documenting over 500 pages of reports with photographs and witness testimony. Captain Uyrange Hollanda led the investigation and confirmed the phenomena were real. Hollanda later died under suspicious circumstances after going public. This is one of the few cases where a military acknowledged physical harm caused by UAP to civilians — the phenomenon isn't just observing, it's interacting with deadly force.
